Local retailer? Show us your best green!

"According to BIGinsight’s St. Patrick’s Day spending survey, 54.4 percent of Americans say they will celebrate the traditionally Irish holiday this year, the most in the survey’s nine-year history. Overall, the average person will spend about $35 on the holiday, totaling $4.6 billion."

I <3 Retail is going green this week in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday and we want to see your best green goods! Bonus points if your showcase merchandise is at the $35 price point or below, but no worries if it’s not.

"Why the interest in St. Patrick’s Day", you might ask?

"When asked how they will celebrate, eight in 10 will aim to avoid the traditional pinch by simply wearing green… BIGinsight’s Consumer Insights Director Pam Goodfellow says, ‘As a non gift-giving holiday, St. Patrick’s Day really brings out the fun in consumers every year, knowing they can splurge on gimmicky accessories like pins and buttons for their clothes and even home decor items to put their entire family in a festive spirit.’"

When consumers are poised to spend, Raleighwood Media Group's retail marketing team wants them to shop with you! Send pictures, description, and prices for your best green goods to before Friday at 6:00pm for free inclusion in this week’s St. Patrick’s Day features on!

All stats and quotes referenced in this post were found in the NRF’s Consumers get ‘lucky’ as St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday article, found here.
